South Oakleigh Police Have raised 5,000 tonnes

The members at Sth Oak Police Station have been organising feed and other things for the animals affected by the fires, it was announced today that they have just sent of 5,000 Tonnes of feed today heading for Kinglake and areas. The locals in the area also helped load the trucks.

What a great effort - feed for livestock (and wildlife) is badly needed and often forgotten int he rush to help the human victims.
