Every avenue I have tried has led to a dead end and I am becoming quite disheartened sad.gif

We collected 9 pallets of products in South Australia for the animals in Victoria but we need somewhere to deliver it that has a forklift to off load the pallets and someone willing to coordinate where things are to go..
Either to Whittlesea Vet or Killmore Wildlife clinic

Anyone willing to help please contact me ASAP.

Sarah

Can you *not* send it by pallet? (Unloading is always the hassle with pallets) Then you'd just need a truck to take it over and someone to unload at the other end (hopefully a someone who goes over with the truck). What arrangements had you made to send it over?

A freight company is transporting it free of charge to Victoria but it will be on a large semi and they can only deliver it to Melbourne..
They have been so nice to offer to transport it and they are currently storing the stuff at their warehouse so I am loathe to make it more difficult for them

Sorry just re read you post..
The product has already been shrink wrapped onto pallets as this is a international freight company and cannot have 'loose' product on the trucks due to the sensitivity of their normal freight

You can but I have 'promised' the people that have donated that these products will go to Whittlesea and Killmore

Oooookay...so the stuff will be on pallets in Melbourne and only needs moving across town/Victoria so to speak ..that SOUNDS easier.
I wonder if one of the media agencies would like to help..good publicity for them??

Except that I still haven't got an address to deliver it to.. No one that I have talked to seems to be able to take it or want it...
I will drive over to sort through it if I have to but I still need an address in Melb for the truck to deliver to.

Could you email Kirsten (Kirty) I know she was helping out with animals in that area. She might have a contact.
