Hi all,

It's life isn't it, Cleo was our foster but I kept her as my own, she has been coming on so well - much friendlier to us and the others, sleeping with Alexis. Well she was with us last night but I had a call this morning from husband to say she is missing, he and our housemate have emptied the house and she cannot be found.

I don't recall seeing her this morning but I literally ran out the door, there were a lot of people coming and going last night and early this morning, don't believe she could have found a way out because Alexis would have found it first and Cleo has shown no inclination to want to leave even if the door was open for a second.

She is a short legged long haired silver tabby with a grumpy expression. Rather well fed (ahem round). She isn't as timid anymore so likely to come up and say hi very vocal too. No collar (of course) I will get a piccie up asap. She has a slightly bald patch on her back due to us cutting some of the knotted fur away.

Missing in the East Maitland area near Greenhills shopping centre, if anyone sees her please call 0449141955 or email me vicki@crazyfiasco.com

Will do a search when I get home tonight and ring the shelters and pound. I'm a bit worried about her safety in this area for various reasons. I just hope she has stayed in the garden (we have a big yard) or under the house. Food and water has been placed on the porch to entice her.

Cat magic please that we find her.

Vicki

Oh Vicki
Hope you next post is good news and she has been in the house or the garden (amazing the places my cats hide at times)
If not the first places to notify and send posters to are Greenhills Vet and Rutherford RSPCA.
Not sure if you were on the boards when Vinnie and her friend were missing- it was not far from there.
Can understand why you are worried about losing her in that area.
Is she chipped and on the NSW register- not sure how things work between here and Victoria with microchips and the scanners.
Sending catmagic3.gif that she is found very quickly

good news she is safe - and found and amazingly curled next to me on the couch.

It's rather embarrassing she was inside all the time - it only took us a whole day to find her because she had buried herself underneath my husbands tshirts in a closed chest of draws. I can't believe she hid there for a whole day - hubby didn't find her until late afternoon and I know he tried as he panicked about her being outside. Thank god she didn't get out we have a rouge cattle dog outside right now (ranger is on his way) god help any cat.
