For the last couple of years I've been thinking about and planning an outdoor enclosure. I've changed my mind a few times about how and where to build it and procrastinated for months but I've finally decided... and today the building started.. smile.gif

I'm really looking forward to it and I thought I'd post some photos here of our progress. It's going to be more of a pergola really, across the end of the house and adjoining the outdoor area we already have there. The roof will have slats, around the bottom will be steel pickets and a railing and the top section enclosed with wire mesh. I'm thinking of having some of it paved and some garden, or maybe just some plants in pots. It's hopefully going to be a nice place for all of us to enjoy.. ourselves, the dogs and we hope Tinkerbelle as well although I'm not sure yet if she will want to be out there.

Tomorrow we get the foundations done for the posts.. I've taken some 'before' pics but there's not much to see just yet.. I hope there will be in a week or so!

Oh how exciting. Looking forward to pics as it progresses.

Jack tells me that if Tink won't use it the enclosure, he will just have to come and visit!!!

Good for you. It takes a cuple of weeks for them to get used to it. We got our Tinkerbelle on 23 Dec last, she came out into the house a month later, and started using the cattery about a month after that. She eyed off the tunnel for a few days before she would venture out. HOney took even longer to be brave but now they both love it.

Your pergola type situation will probably be used quicker, especially as you will be out there too. Try giving her one of her feeds out there.

Hi Odille

It's all just been finished at last, it did take a while!

All the news and progress photos are on a new thread... you can find them here .
