hey !
how are we all ?
i've never posted in a forum before, so this is all new lol
if there's a similar post, where someones found her, ohh send the link through lol !

i just thought that, as a last hope, maybe one of you guys might've seen my cat sad.gif
i'm posting this on behalf of my little sisters and my parents and we've lost our best friend sad.gif
so maybe you guys can help me out smile.gif

where to start..

We lost our cat Tandy on Monday 9th of February 2009 - I know that, that's ages ago, but I'm still holding in there, hoping she can still be found !

We lost her around the "Lower Templestowe/Bulleen" area - we live off Thompson's Road - in MELBOURNE, VICTORIA

Tandy is a 6 year old female "blue-point balinese" - vibrant blue eyes and "blue points" on her tail, face, legs

She is desexed (with the little tattoo in her left ear to prove so - least i think thats what its for) and she's also microchipped (she doesnt wear a collar, very long story as to why she doesnt lol) annd she's registered with the local Manningham council

Although she goes by "Tandy", at home we call her "Flea" lol smile.gif she seems to respond to it more - we have no idea why lol
Unfortunately Flea is wayy too friendly for her own good. She talks to anyone, and she's too inquisitive ! (once we saw her in the neighbors front windows, you should've seen how fast she got outta there after she saw us staring)

We fear someones just picked her up off the street, cos they thought she was a stray - and they've taken her home..
She is an outdoor cat, it's a risk we took, but she loves the adventure and hunting.

We've done everything that we can think of !
Rung RSPCA, rung the local council
Hung posters up in local Vets
Hung posters up around the area (Waratah Drive, off Thompsons Road)
We've even done a letter box drop in the area

oh yeahh ! there's also a reward if she's found smile.gif
extra incentive ? maybe lol
if you see her, or you've got her, please give my dad, Daniel, a call on 0450 072 757
or (03) 9850 9719

We've had flea since she was little.
We bought her in Melbourne, then moved to england &we took her with us, &then when we moved back to Melbourne, she came once again.
She's a big part of our lives. It's not every day you can say you had a cat who's travelled half way around the world. And experienced snow at -10degrees and then a 46degree aussie summer lol

I really miss her. I can honestly say, she was my best friend.
I'd just really like you guys to keep an eye out, i cannot begin to tell you how much that would mean to not only me but my family !

iv put some pictures of her here for you guys to take a squizz at smile.gif

Good luck finding Flea.
Please make sure her microchip details are up to date for your current address and phone numbers.

Perhaps she would be safer in a cat enclosure when she returns.

When my Oriental boy was stolen I also alerted his breeder. This would help if any original registration details are still in the breeders name. I also used Petsearch, a NSW-based company who were very helpful. I am a Balinese owner, too.

Oh I do hope you get her back....sometimes many many months pass between a cat going missing and being found...Did you read the pinned topic about tracking down a lost cat......perhaps there is an idea there that you may have not yet tried.

BTW your photos are oversized - can you please re-size them and re-post - longest side should not be more than 600 pixels....once again wishing you luck and hoping that you do get her back....
