Taken me ages to do this, i haven't had the strength.

I lost my dear Hercules on the 23rd of Feb this year, he had a tumour in his throat, vet tried to operate but nothing could be done, tried a couple of treatments to no avail.

Hercules was a shelter cat, he i got him from the Lord smith sometime in 2001, he was to me at least, a very special cat.When he played with humans he was allways extremely gentle, he never grabbed you with his claws out, I don't think he once scratched me he would play bite but he did so so gently it never hurt.He was never agressive towards any other cats or animals.He very much enjoyed sleeping on the back of my chair while i was on the computer and sleeping under the doona in bed.

I made this slideshow with an appropriate song and put it on youtube today, please watch and comment.The pictures got mixed up a bit and you see a few doubles near the start.

I miss him so much i still get very upset,this forum has helped me a lot, but i get very upset when i see other pople with their own problems. Id love to post to every thread int his section and offer my support but i find it just to hard at this time.

I know what you mean about posting in this thread it can be hard at times. I dont always do it straight away but like you try to support. I light a candle every Friday night in memory of my Oscar since he went to RB on 22.2.08 and also for all the furballs that have gone to RB or who are ill.

Hercules was a beautiful boy and obviously very special. I love that gentle nature in a cat. He will never be forgotten and is part of your heart.
