I had to fight tooth and nail to have you come to live with us! I remember asking gramps (bless him) the names of all the blue flowers he knew, so I could find the right name for you - Delphinium. I remember sneaking you and Chessa into nanna's house and the way you both just curled up and went to sleep between me and the chair.
Your mum's owner threatened to have you all drowned, so I insisted on taking you and your sister home in a cardboard box. You were so, so tiny, probably too little to leave but what choice did we have?
You were such a sweet cat, with your long monkey tail and that horrific meow - that was some set of lungs. You were such a good ear to me during the hard times, especially when we moved here and everything was new and scary.
I'm really going to miss seeing you at the door, little girl. With just Misty and Juliet remaining, it seems it's nearly the end of an era. Hope you've found Chessa and you're having a ball together.
