Lara 04.10.1988 - 17.05.2006 2 years, sadly missed

I wasn't posting on C-W when I lost Lara 2 years ago so as it is the annivesary of her passing I thought I would post in her memory now.

She came with me when I first moved out of home and was there during a period of serious health issues for me. She took the role of "mother cat" to both Reilly (RIP) and Willow and Reilly in particular never really recovered from her loss. She was an awesome cat and sadly missed.

Here are pics of her as a kitten and as an adult.

She was so beautiful and such a treasured friend. RIP little one.

Oh Lara what a sweet one.
There is always one isnt there that holds that spot.

Oscar's candle burns each Friday but of late I burn each day as his mate I feel will join him soon so for Lara tomorrows candle burns for her too.

Memories are sooo precious.

Thanks Winscar - that is so nice of you.

I have only had a few cats because on the whole have been blessed to have been able to spend a long time with them. I have loved them all, but Lara was certainly something special.

Her markings were so striking. What a lovely girl and what beautiful memories you must have of her. I'm sure the handsome Reilly will be very happy to see her again and perhaps she will take little Reubin under her wing over the rainbow bridge too.
