Please message me if you have any information as to who the owners might be. It was very hungry & scared when I found it & since we have pets I have had to find it a very temporary home.

Proof of ownership will need to be provided, since it is a pedigree.

Thank you,

Kat

have you gone and had it scanned for a microchip? how do you know it is a pedigree?

Sorry I see it is in the 2nd line of the title that it is chipped

Spent 2 hours in emergency vet care getting it scanned last night.

Because it is a perfect example of it's breed.

Worth ringing petsearch if you have not done so already- they were very helpful when one of my cats was missing from her last home- and the kitten may already be registered with them

I thought that if you find an animal in NSW by law you have to hand it in to the pound.
Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.
Hope the kitty is back with their owners soon- and thank you for trying to do all you can
Good luck

Agree Winscar
there must be a record somewhere of where the microchip was put in- and by who- may have been very recent

Thanks. Got a message up there already. Every vet in the area has the details now as well as every relevant classified so hopefully something will turn up.

On the upside, if no one does I already have a foster family who would probably keep her. She's a lovely cat. So sooky.

You'd think it'd be easy. *sigh*. There's no sore so I suspect the microchip may have been put in by the breeder but the family didn't license or put in the paperwork. No desexing either so we're hoping she's not pregnant as well, since she was being chased by tom cats til I decided I had to go & get her checked out.

Also, not handing her into the inundated pound. No point. The owner could turn up in the next week & the vets & pounds are over flowing with recession-hand-backs as it is.

Thanks for the offer Sara Jane but I don't think her current foster parents want her going anywhere! :D

If circumstances change I will let you know.
