After many many months of deep thinking, and watching Mishkin's behaviour to humans and cats deteriorate each day, last Wednesday he was gently PTS.
Mishkin, the cat I lost who came home to me after 7 years, has now left me permanently

My heartfelt sympathy to you as I know how hard you tried to integrate your precious lost boy. Mishkin is now at peace and no longer in a quandry.

Heaps of hugs.

oh boy, tears in my eyes as I type this. Thank you all for your kind thoughts. And a hug for you Winscar, another birman to play with Mishkin is a lovely thought.

I was off the site for some months as I struggled with my thoughts re Mishkin, I wish now I had stayed close by as the support everyone gives each other would have eased me through the past months as I struggled.

I spent an hour outside after I returned home on Wednesday, going over my time with Mish, and I was soon joined by Mooks and Pearl who sat by me/ I am eternally grateful for the power that brought my boy home to spend his last year with me...
