Jack died at nearly seventeen. He had a pretty rough start but came good in the end.
In case you're wondering, he was meant to be a Burmese but ended up more wombat looking so my boyfriend's family adopted him.
He was similar to a toaster in shape, skipped across the floor & liked to eat flowers.
Tisha (after getting into some chocolate icing when I put the cake in the oven)

I got Tisha when she was 6 months old. My 1 year old cat was getting neurotic so I wanted to get her some company. Boy did we have our ups & downs. Her previous family neglected her, they said she was desexed (she wasn't) so she ended up pregnant but was too small to carry the kittens, she destroyed everything, she tortured the other cat mercilessly, swallowed Indian Miners & left nothing but the feet, destroyed the local pest population, scared the neighbours, frightened all other neighbourhood cats into submission & was a total menace.
She also purred for the first time in my arms since she used to sleep wrapped around one of them. She snored. She liked lying next to the laptop & getting belly rubs. She made me laugh, she watched TV, she slept on the subwoofer when there was heavy metal playing, she watched my partner play guitar. She used to call for us whenever she came inside & the night before I found her hit by a car we were remarking on how well the cats were getting along, that Tisha was finally starting to settle & sit on laps.
Miss her terribly, despite her being a pain in the bum. The other cat looked for her for over a month after she died & wouldn't eat for several days after she died.
Tish, I know you're somewhere in hell-of-mice, probably beside Satan. We miss you.
