My 9 year old siamese cat went missing on Sunday 14th June from Bribie Island. She is desexed and very timid, we think she may have been frightened by some large dogs that have moved into a home where she used to visit a indoor siamese cat, any information would be greatly appreciated

Have you contacted the vets on Bribie and the pound. Try door knocking as well and put up posters with a picture of her if possible. Go out at night with her biscuits and shake them so that she can hear you. Good luck.

i have done letterbox drops, searched neighboring yards, listed her with local vet, rspca, council, have her picture up at all local shops, advertised in local papers and spent hours walking around calling her, i think the neighbors think i have lost it but who cares

Thankyou to all my wellwishers, by some miracle Sheiki turned up this morning nursing a sore back leg but otherwise in good condition, she is off to the vet this morning at 11, thanks again for all your advice and good wishes and good luck to all others searching for lost pets.

Sheiki has been to the vet and faired pretty well, she has some ligament damage to her hind leg which should heal ok, may have a slight limp but her and I think we can live with that considering all the other things that could have gone wrong. Her vet said she was in remarkable condition considering the time she had been missing, she's one lucky cat and I'm a very blessed owner. Her mate Koko (alias Black Puss) was happy to see her although a little cattitude has gone on since (the I didn't care she was gone type) and oh no now I have to share again. She is never more than a few feet from us, I guess this will wear off in time but she's certainly keeping us warm in bed at the moment, great fun, 1 double bed, 1 large husband, 1 8kg black cat and a clingy siamese, makes for very cosy nights.
Thanks again for all the good wishes and will certainly keep in touch.
