We are trying really hard to move on from the bushfires but it is a long slow difficult process.Practically everyone in our community is suffering from depression in varying degrees.

Yesterday there was a knock at my door and a lovely lady delivered a pamper pack put together by the ladies of the CWA at Clayton North.

It included a beautiful hand knitted throw rug and a hand made bag stuffed full of bubble bath, soap, hand cream etc etc.

I can't tell you what a boost it gave me.

Also in a couple of weeks I am going on the " Bush to Beach Retreat ". A weekend away for women from bushfire affected ares to the Cumberland 5 star resort in Lorne.

To everyone who is working so hard to get us through, thankyou. flowers.gif

That's great! It's amazing how these small gestures can mean so much.

Yesterday there was a knock at my door and a lovely lady delivered a pamper pack put together by the ladies of the CWA at Clayton North.

The CWA are exceptional in the work that they do especially for the farmers during hard times and they all volunteer their time.

I go to the Royal Melb. Show every year and they have a food stand their and that is the only place I get my brekky from (all 10 days) because of the things they do for the community.

That's so kind and generous of them, something small that means so much to others. What wonderful ladies.

I'm so glad that you are feeling a little better from their lovely gift.

Yes I was away this last weekend for the Bush to Beach retreat.

What a special weekend it was, many many tears shed but also lots of laughs.
It was great to be able to spend time with others that have gone through the same experiences in the bushfires,no words were needed,we all understood each others pain.

No cooking and a wonderful hotel was great too.Lots of R & R.

They are having another weekend for bushfire affected women in September and I cant recommend it highly enough.A healing time.
