First let me say im new to this site, have no idea what im doing or if im posting this right.I loved seeing and reading all your post on the Cat encloures. My husband and I are going to build something soon for our indoor/outdoor cats..Has anyone ever built something away from their home. This is what we have planned, something they can call their home(own large building) with a large fenced in area..Some will be wooded areas..I need info what type of fencing would be best..My husband wants to use 2x4 metal fencing..Im woried that the slats are to wide. What do ya'll think.I also have an account on the Bestfriend Network under Ihave13..It is another good Cat/animal site, but Not to much info on encloures...Nic

Need a pics of the type of fence, I have no idea what it looks like. Netting is best for cats in my experience.

Do you mean colourbond? Some people say that cats cannot climb it but I don't have any experience with it.

Have you read through the plans and details of other members' enclosures in this Forum. Also go to the Home Page where you can access other enclosure ideas. Good luck.

I have looked through the post on this site,to be honest I havent read every one in full detail..I was able to see some of the pictures of a few and the one's that caught my eye looked to have stainless still fencing,Not mesh.Ive never seen that kind anyway ,nor have I heard of colourbond,is that the same or something differant..Ill do more research..I have been posting on this forum in the Bestfriend Network under the "Group called Outdoor Cat Encloures".This is a newer forum it doesnt have any pictures or great info that this site has..But once I gather my picture's ill be glad to post them here and also there for those members to see as well.I just need to get them taken.lol...Maybe if any of you are members of the B/F Network you can put your idea's and pic's of the work you have done..

As this is an Australian website and Colourbond is an Australian product, this could be why you haven't heard of it.
