RIP sweet girl.
Edited to add - based on some reading today, it sounds like it was a saddle thombosis. So sad...

Last night I got a call from a close friend in the US. When they got up that morning, her 3 year old Siamese, Mei-Ling was in distress and paralysed in the back legs. They rushed her to the vet, but it was some sort of clot. I don't know the details at all as my friend was very upset, but it is so sad. Mei Ling had been running around playing the night before. It was all very sudden. She was a lovely cat, and she has left her human family, and feline companion, very upset and confused.
RIP sweet girl.
