I know this is a strange subject, but I was wondering how many cats out there dont like to put their feet in the tray. I haven't seen it before until now with Lou Wei. He has to put one back foot down for no.2's though. I'm not sure how he will manage this when he is fully grown, but for now its quite amusing.

One of my girls will always balance on the edge of the tray for No 2's - she obviously doesn't want to risk stepping in it! LOL

Both of our raggies sometimes have the front paws out of the tray and even on the floor,
There bodies are so long that it is the only way they can go if they decide the middle of the tray is the spot they want to use,
But ours have never had the back two paws like Lou there,
A prime candidate for a litter kwitter I reacon,

Cheers,Paul

LOL, oh Poor Lou Wei, he doesn't look that comfortable! You may need to counter-weight the tray if he gets heavier!

Hamish lifts one of his front paws in the air when he is doing No 2's, I think it gives him more propulsion rolleyes.gif

Henry does that when he wees!! He doesn't want to get his paws wet!! I have to put the litter tray under a chair so his weight doesn't tip the tray over.

The vet also mentioned that he did it when he was in the hospital last month - she was laughing but didn't like the mess he made.

My two cats stick their heads out of the box...we have the ones with lids on them...its so funny to see a cat halway in the litter box. Then they will only use the front legs to cover it back up. I'll have to try and get some pictures to post..lol. That is very funny that your cat doesnt put any feet in..lol.

My girl Akane tries very hard to put all four feet on the edge of the litter tray when toileting. This used to result in a tipped tray but now I wedge the smaller tray (which she prefers of course!) between the wall and the second heavier tray.
