After lookin around for a second hand enclosure/stud run-we finally got one!

I think it was a bargain,we got it for $400!

The lady we brought it off use to be a reg breeder with the fccv, but after no longer breeding/showing [20 years] she no longer needed it-as she only has 2 moggies that are inside her home with her.

The lady tells me it cost her over $3000 for it 5 years ago, as she had it made to suite her reguirements.

The inside overnight part is 3mtrs long by 1.8 wide by 1.8 high

The outside part is 1.8 long by 1.8 wide by 1.820 high

It has 3 windows that open and close as well as 2 metal doors on the over night part as well as a wire door.-it has a light in it once hooked up to a power lead-the outside has a door too+locks and keys.

It also has about 4.5 mtrs of tunnel and a tower[cost on their website for the tower alone is $405!]-so soon ill put that on.

And it also has a divider for the inside part and outside part [both with doors] that we have left out so that Keiko has more room-we have set it up with a home made hammock-shelves-and put his bed and scratchy post in for him,ow and lino on the bottom-with sealant around the outside so no water gets in

Keiko can see right through to our lounge/tv from the window!-HERE ARE THE PICS.

Thanks guys flowers.gif -yep Heather have shade cloth, ready to go on,ian is also making another hammock/bed.plus want to put show carpet in the inside part for mating time/ or maybe some mats?

We also cover up the 2 small tunnels that let him venture outside -only at night just so hes warm and snug inside-is that a good idea?

The guy next door was a bit of a smart ass eyebrow.gif saying 'ow wow its good dose he have a lounge and foxtel in there'-im like 'well he can see our tv/plasma from his window'!-so we have foxtel?-real smart ass he was!

Im just glad i can see him all the time as we have an open dining/lounge so he sees us all day-hes gettin used to it-he follows me when im outside going from the night part to outside part as i walk past! rolleyes.gif

I think it is good to get him used to being locked in at night......you never know when a stray cat might wander through at night........I would do something like this tree http://www.bettapets...m.au/prod10.jpg in the middle or to one side of the outside area.....

Ohhhh you are going to have fun furnishing it....
